Youth Connexions Hertfordshire offers a comprehensive range of both 'off the shelf' and bespoke packages.
Through working in partnership with a range of providers, services are joined up more than ever before to provide the complete solution for:
• independent and impartial information, advice and guidance
• careers education
• work related learning
Justin Donovan, Director of Education and Early Intervention, Hertfordshire County Council said "One size does not fit all, which is why Youth Connexions packages have been designed to meet the needs of your institution allowing flexibility, innovation and value for money. You can be confident that Youth Connexions will meet your statutory responsibilities for securing independent, impartial guidance for students."
There are two brochures, one for secondary schools and one for special schools and colleges. The brochures illustrate the wide range of services that include:
• impartial careers guidance
• working with the Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce and
Industry to deliver work related learning
• support and preparation in finding apprenticeships, developed
with the National Apprenticeship Service
• progression to Higher Education developed with the University
of Hertfordshire
