Information can be found about anything such as work, money, drugs, pregnancy, smoking and drinking, leaving home, the law, learning, leisure and much more! We have access to the Internet and you can also use the computers to type letters and CVs.
Counselling
Our counsellors will listen and support you to find the way forward that feels right for you. Your counsellor will offer you a regular appointment each week and the service is free and confidential. Drop in or phone the centre for an appointment.
Sexual Health
Our trained sexual health workers can discuss issues such as contraception, emergency contraception, sexually transmitted infections, HIV/AIDS and abortion. We offer pregnancy testing and condoms during all opening times. Enquiries can also be answered by phone.
Outreach work
We also have two Outreach workers that can visit schools, colleges, youth clubs and agencies to talk about the Centre or run specialist sessions. These can be on exam stress, sexual health, bullying, self esteem or any subject of interest or concern to young people.
